## 1. Hedefler

Program türlerini tanıyacak, tercihlerini gerekçelendirecek, yayın akışı okuyacak ve geçmişte izlediğin bir programı anlatacaksın. **Programın türü, başlama saati, süresi ve izleyicinin tercihi** birlikte değerlendirilmelidir.

> **Dil ipucu:** **News** sonunda -s olsa da bu anlamda tekil fiille kullanılır: **The news is…**. **Series** hem tekil hem çoğul olabilir: a series / two series.

## 3. Konu anlatımı

### 3.1. Tercih belirtme

**Prefer A to B**, A’yı B’ye tercih etmektir. Tercih edilen öğe önce gelir.

- I **prefer documentaries to cartoons**. → Belgeselleri çizgi filmlere tercih ederim.
- She **prefers quiz shows to talk shows**. → Bilgi yarışmalarını tercih eder.
- I **prefer watching documentaries to watching sitcoms**. → Fiillerle de iki tarafı dengeli kurabilirsin.
- **Do you prefer** cartoons or documentaries? — I prefer documentaries.

**Yanlış:** I prefer documentaries than cartoons. **Doğru:** I prefer documentaries **to** cartoons. **She prefer… → She prefers…** ancak **Does she prefer…?** sorusunda -s olmaz.

### 3.2. Beğeni ve görüş

**Enjoy + -ing:** enjoy watching doğru, enjoy to watch yanlış. Like/love sonrasında hem watching hem to watch kullanılabilir. “Can't stand” güçlü bir olumsuz tercihtir; “I love” anlamına gelmez.

**Because** gerekçe verir: I prefer documentaries **because I learn new things**. **But** karşıtlık kurar: The episode was long, **but it was interesting**.

### 3.3. Sıklık, zaman ve süre

- **How often do you watch TV?** — Twice a week. → Sıklık.
- **What time does it start?** — At 6:30. → Başlama saati.
- **How long does it last?** — Thirty minutes. → Süre.
- **Which channel is it on?** — Channel 2. → Kanal.
- **What is it about?** — Wild animals. → Konu.

> **Sınav püf noktası:** 18:30–19:15 arası **45 dakika**dır. Saati 19.15−18.30 gibi ondalık sayı çıkarma işlemiyle hesaplama. Program seçerken yalnız başlama saatini değil, **bitiş saatini** de kontrol et.

### 3.4. İzlediğin programı anlatma

Geçmişte tamamlanan izleme eylemi için **watched**, görüş/durum için **was / were** kullanılır.

- I **watched** a quiz show yesterday.
- It **was** exciting.
- I **didn't watch** the final episode.
- **Did you enjoy** the programme? — Yes, I did.
- **What did you watch** last night? — A documentary.

**Did + watch**, “did watched” değildir. **Was it interesting?** sorusuna **Yes, it was** denir; “Yes, it did” denmez.

**Örnek:** Ece 17:20’de eve geliyor ve 18:00’de çalışmaya başlıyor. Programın tamamını izlemek istiyor. **Brain Race** uygundur. Ocean Life’ın başını kaçırır; Funny Street ise çalışma saatiyle çakışır. “Belgeseli seviyor” bilgisi tek başına zaman koşulunu ortadan kaldırmaz.

## 5. Okuma ve kısa tekrar

> Ada and Mert watched different programmes yesterday. Ada watched a documentary about forests. She found it informative. Mert watched a quiz show with his sister. He enjoyed answering the questions, but he thought the adverts were too long. Both finished watching before dinner.

**Anlama:** Who learned about forests? → Ada. What did Mert dislike? → The long adverts. Did they watch the same programme? → No. **Both** yalnız ikisinin de yemekten önce izlemeyi bitirdiğini gösterir.

**Alıştırma:** a) She ___ (prefer) quiz shows. b) I enjoy ___ (watch) cartoons. c) Did you ___ (watch) the news? d) “Forty minutes” hangi soruya cevap verir?

**Cevap:** prefers / watching / watch / How long does it last?

## 6. Ünite testi — 25 soru

**1–20: 3’er puan; 21–25: 8’er puan. Toplam: 100 puan.** Önerilen süre 50–60 dakikadır. Programlar ve yayın akışları kurgudur.

**Rubrik (8 puan):** Tür 1; izleme zamanı 1; doğru geçmiş izleme cümlesi 1; geçmiş görüşü 1; mantıklı gerekçe 2; tutarlılık/anlaşılabilirlik 1; 4–5 cümle 1. Olumsuz görüşler de uygun gerekçeyle tam puan alabilir.
